The Blood Knights part 2
One day later:
Clubs and Penna walked down the cobbled streets of the Hakoshiian market, holding hands. Clubs was happy Penna was with him. He did not want to go off and drive back the Irridian Soldiers. He wanted to stay with Penna, and make sure she was safe. “Hey, do you want wine?” Clubs asked, pointing towards a stall.
“No, thanks, I do not like wine or anything of the sort. But you can have some.” Penna replied.
Clubs smiled and kissed her cheek, and went to purchase his drink. “What would my lord like to drink? Perhaps some fine spiced red, or perhaps a sweetened white?” The teller asked.

The four ambassadors stood at the helm of the ship. Castle Danant was in sight, and they were preparing to make dock at Danant City of Irridia. This king Danant sure likes to plaster his name on everything, one of the ambassadors, Aileenus, thought to herself. “Throw the anchor and make dock! Aileenus, Nemeus, Theusa, Kais, we will wait for you here.” The captain said.
The four nodded, and stepped off the ship. Five lightly armed body guards stepped off with them, and surrounded them in a protective circle. An Irridian lord, flanked by two soldiers, greeted them. “Hail! King Danant welcomes you. Ambassadors from Spades Kin

“Alright, Diamonds. What’s this all about?” Clubs asked as the doors closed and clicked to lock.
“Domonculus wasn’t working alone. He was a top leader, and guided the clan. But he was merely a pawn to an ancient order of demons.” Diamonds said.
“Well, who was he working with?” Spades asked.
“I’m getting to that, Spades. He was at the mercy of the Burning Legion. Headed by the ancient titan Sargeras.”
“Who is this ‘Sargeras’” Hearts asked.
“Sargeras was once part of the twelve titans that ordered the entire universe. Said to be before the old gods

Clubs saw the ancient warlock pull back his sword arm, readying to plunge the blade through Diamond’s heart. ‘Archer! Now!” Clubs screamed.
The archer quickly removed an arrow from his quiver and put it to the bow. He released with it with an eager quickness. It whistled through the night air, heading straight for Domonculus’s eye. Domonculus craned his head slightly, and evaporated into a puff of black mist. The arrow stuck into a crevice of fallen stone and wood ramparts that still burned with slowly dying embers. Domonculus rematerialised on a fallen bulwark. Club’s powered his gryphon faster, intent on killi

Hearts heard the shriek of gryphons, and saw what looked like thirty of them. Two banners flew from the creatures, the Black Phoenix, and the symbol of Clubs. So he’s back, Hearts said. She heard several explosions, seeing the remaining siege towers splinter and explode into shards of wood and crudely hammered iron. The goblins on the highest point were completely immolated, while the goblins on the lower decks were crushed by the debris. There were more explosions, and she knew that they were slowly halting the goblin flood that threatened the great castle. She saw a soldier approach her, and she said, “What is it?”

Ten Minutes to midnight. And for the first time in a long time, Diamonds felt nervous. He looked side to side at his mages. Their cloaks were flapping slowly and softly in the midnight air. The only light emanated from the torches and braziers. The wounded had been tended to as best as he could tend them. Those who had received the more grievous of wounds, he had his mages use healing magic, but those spells drained the user, and he needed them in fighting condition. Even though it was only goblins, he himself knew that in numbers, the creatures are dangerous. Before Spades had swept up the mantle and pushed the largest of the clans south tow

The catapults and Trebuchets were all in place, archers and crossbowmen placed at the high points of the castle wall. Oil was boiling in massive cauldrons, ready to poured onto the invaders. Barricades were in place if they broke through the gate, and men were ready with blades, axes, and spears, all prepared to charge if the gates or walls did not hold. Spades had his great sword at his belt, and Heart’s scythe was was attached to her back. Diamonds was sitting in a chair, his long hair covering the left side of his face. The other was damn near blacked out. A small gleam from the light of the torch reflected off his eye. His black ro

A poem for Kado and I
He sits, contemplating philosophy,
She watches him, wanting him,
Eros peers from on high,
casting his hand of love to them,
cupid aims and shoots arrows of gold,
locked in passion, cherubim dance,
their lips part, still high off angelic ecstasy,
Venus dances, setting before them golden apples,
their hands locked together,
their eyes burning still with the flame,
still wanting each other,
this dream of which they wish they would never wake.

The Shapes of Stories: A look at story structures.
With all of the different guides on how to write, you've probably come across a number of different story structures. So, which one is the best? The answer: YES! But seriously, there are several ways to tell a story in the same way there are several ways to compose music. Some figure these out intuitively, but others (like me for instance) need guides, and here are the myriad ways to shape stories.
The basic unit is always the scene: a series of actions (called beats) that always begin in one state and shifts to another with each action. These actions are often in opposition to one another: one character wants to achieve X, and the other wan

IV. Culture
Where and when the story takes place affects what culture you end up with (or what culture you'll need to build to support a hypothetical place). This is probably the most important of the four elements because it controls what is possible, what is believable, and what you can work with within the story. It is probably the most fun to write (especially for science fiction and fantasy writers), and simultaneously the most difficult when you need to write a complex original setting.
The Basis of Culture

Some names I might consider if were to become pope;
Pope Hilarious
Pope Ridiculous
Pope Bigus Dickus
Pope Toadias
That is as far as I could come up with. But yeah, pope names.
I need some fresh ideas for stories. I'm fresh out of them. Any Ideas? Anything will really do. Just a simple Idea and I can create an intricate story line.
